Our Foundation

The Law Office of Troy M. Ortiz is a boutique law firm, founded in 2021 by attorney Troy M. Ortiz, who wanted to establish a practice with a targeted focus on real estate and business matters that was responsive, direct, and could provide small and mid-size businesses with actionable guidance.

We help businesses and individuals buy, sell, and lease commercial and residential properties and regularly serve as outside general counsel and the point of contact for ongoing legal matters. We focus on the details so that you can focus on the big picture.

Our Commitment to the Community

Troy M. Ortiz is incredibly involved in the community. He was formerly an advisory board member for the San Diego Mesa College School of Business and Technology and currently sits on the advisory board for the Town of Truckee’s Tax Measure Citizens Oversight Committee. In addition, Troy serves as a director of the Truckee Meals on Wheels organization, where he makes efforts to protect senior citizens and promote independent living. Over the years, he has also volunteered to serve Habitat for Humanity and the Legal Aid Society of San Diego.
